What to check when buttons do not appear or numbers look wrong.
Buttons do not appear
Work through these in order, because each one hides buttons completely and the first is the most common.
- Confirm the license is active on EM Buttons → License. An expired license past its grace period stops the buttons rendering.
- Confirm the marketplace is enabled on the Marketplaces tab.
- Confirm the product has a URL saved for that marketplace.
- Check the marketplace’s schedule. Outside its start and end window it does not render.
- Check the visibility rules on the Display tab, including the logged-in and role restrictions.
- Check whether Display is set to show buttons only while a product is out of stock.
Buttons appear in the wrong place
Position is set on the Display tab.
If the position setting looks right but nothing moves, your theme may not call the standard WooCommerce hooks for that area.
Set the position to the manual option and place the buttons with the shortcode, the block or the Elementor widget instead.
Clicks are not being recorded
Check that click tracking is switched on, then check the Count Clicks From setting.
If it excludes administrators and shop managers, your own clicks are ignored by design.
Set it to everyone while testing, then change it back.
Clicks from a cached page are still recorded.
If none appear at all, a security plugin blocking admin-ajax requests is the usual reason.
Variation links do not change
Variation URLs are saved on each variation, not on the parent.
Open the Variations tab, expand the variation, confirm the URL is there and save the variations.
If the parent has a URL and the variation does not, the parent’s link is used on purpose.
An affiliate tag is not being added
Check the rule’s match value against the domain actually being linked.
A rule matching amazon.com does not apply to a link pointing at amazon.de.
Add a rule with an empty match to cover everything you have not listed.
In wrap mode, confirm the template starts with http and contains {url}, since a template missing either is ignored.
