Engagement counts
See which hotspots visitors open, without collecting personal data.
Engagement counts answer one question: which hotspots do visitors actually open? They are off unless you turn them on.
Turning it on
Under PixMapr → Settings → General → Engagement, switch on Count hotspot opens. Each image’s edit screen then gets an Engagement box showing how often the image was shown and a ranked chart of hotspot opens.
What is stored
Only two kinds of number, both against the image itself: how many times it was shown, and how many times each hotspot was opened. No IP addresses, no browser details, no session or account identifiers, nothing about any individual visitor, so it adds nothing to a privacy policy and needs no cookie banner. Your own opens are not counted, and browsers that ask not to be tracked are left alone.
