Pan, zoom, and fullscreen
Keep large and detailed images usable on every screen.
Big images, maps, and floorplans need room. PixMapr gives visitors pan, zoom, and a fullscreen view, without ever hijacking the page scroll.
Pan and zoom
Turn zoom on per image or per placement (zoom="yes"). Visitors hold Ctrl (or Cmd) and scroll to zoom, drag to pan, and a reset control puts the image back. Plain scrolling always scrolls the page; PixMapr never captures it.
Fullscreen
Fullscreen can be set site-wide (PixMapr → Settings → General → Fullscreen), per image, or per placement. It uses the browser’s own fullscreen where available and a full-viewport overlay where it is not, so it works on iPhone too.
The information box position is chosen separately for large and small screens: side, overlay, or stacked on desktop; sheet, stacked, or overlay on phones. On a phone held upright, a wide image offers a dismissible hint to turn the device; where the browser supports it the screen turns by itself, and the orientation is never forced.
