• Initial release.
• A documented JavaScript API: pixmapr: events carrying the hotspot, and window.PixMapr.

• Fullscreen viewing. Set it site-wide or per image, and choose how the information box is arranged on large and small screens independently. Uses the browser's own fullscreen where available, and a full-viewport overlay where it is not, so it works on iPhone too. On a phone held upright, a wide image offers a dismissible hint to turn the device; where the browser supports it the screen turns by itself. The orientation is never forced.
• Reorder hotspots and styles from the editor without redrawing them.
• Duplicate an interactive image, hotspots and all, from the images list.
• Shoppable images. With WooCommerce active, a hotspot can be tagged with a product and shows a card carrying its photo, price, sale and stock state, rating and an add-to-cart button that uses WooCommerce's own script, so the item goes into the cart without leaving the page. Pick products by name or ID, and choose per hotspot whether the button adds to the cart, links to the product, or is left off. Pairs with the Product tag marker style — the small pulsing dot shopping apps use to say "there is something here".
• A "shop this image" strip. Set the hotspot legend to show products and it becomes a row of them beneath the picture — photo, name and price each — that scrolls sideways on a phone and stacks into a column beside the image. Entries open their hotspot and highlight as one is opened, and a tag whose product has been deleted is left out rather than sending a shopper nowhere.
• Four ready-made looks for the product card — photo beside the details, a one-line compact version for narrow panels, details laid over the photograph, or no photograph at all — plus an accent colour, filled or outlined buttons, and three corner treatments. Price, star rating, short description and the sale and stock badges can each be shown or hidden: a lookbook usually reads better without prices, a catalogue wants them first. Set it site-wide, per image, or per placement.
• Optional engagement counts: how often each image was shown and which hotspots visitors opened, shown as a ranked chart on the edit screen. Off unless you turn it on. Only counts are stored, against the image itself — no IP addresses, browser details, or session or account identifiers, so it collects no personal data and needs no cookie banner. Your own opens are not counted, and browsers asking not to be tracked are left alone.
• Optional hotspot legend beside or below the image, kept in sync with the active hotspot, with working Back and Forward between hotspots.
• Formatting toolbar on hotspot descriptions.
• Information panels announce themselves to screen readers as they change.
• Per-image and multi-style hotspot theming, plus a custom theme builder.
• Gutenberg block, Elementor widget, Beaver Builder module, classic editor metaboxes, and the shortcode — all four editors expose the same options, grouped into the same panels, so nothing is shortcode-only.
