Uninstall and Data
What deactivating keeps, what uninstalling removes, and the delete-data switch.
Deactivating the plugin keeps every setting and every saved number, so you can deactivate and reactivate during troubleshooting without losing configuration. Uninstalling (deleting the plugin) is also non-destructive by default.
The delete-data switch
To have an uninstall wipe everything, tick Delete all data on uninstall on the Basic tab first. With that switch on, deleting the plugin removes all plugin options, every saved WhatsApp Number entry, the per-product settings, and cached lookups. With it off, everything stays in the database for a future reinstall.
What the plugin stores
Only your configuration: settings, numbers, and per-product overrides. Conversations happen inside WhatsApp; the plugin never sees, stores, or transmits customer messages, and it calls no external service.
